Five classes finished—challenge complete!
As part of my April Creative Challenge, I completed Baugasm Series #2 C4D Clothing Effect on SkillShare.
Materials Used
- Software: Adobe Photoshop CC and Cinema 4D (C4D)
My Project
The class assignment was to design a poster.
I have an expired student version of C4D, so I can’t actually export graphics and video from C4D, which is what I needed to do for this tutorial. But I can still play with the software. I am really inexperienced with C4D, so I thought this would be a good class for me. I typed the first song lyrics that came to mind and used that for my poster (With the lights out / it’s less dangerous / here we are now / entertain us).
My Finished Project
This isn’t what I’d call a finished project. It’s really more of a sketch using a technique. I didn’t want to spend a ton of time making something polished for this class, so followed along and did something quick while watching the videos.
I’m not great with C4D, so there are some colliding issues (the bubbles poking through in the middle). I was able to achieve a quick clothing effect, which is something I now have in my toolkit for future projects. Yay! Even though this is quick and kind of ugly, I’m really proud of making the technique work properly in C4D.
