It’s been a while since I blogged a wedding invite suite. I lost steam on this project when I became disenchanted with etsy (fees and advertising other vendors on my listings). I love designing invites, but it’s a hefty time-suck to design matching pieces—about 8 hours per suite. I have about 15 new invites designed but haven’t had the desire to finish the suites. I enjoy designing these even if nobody purchases them, so I think I will keep plugging away and eventually transfer the sales over here, so at least I don’t have to pay to have them available for purchase. Definitely a backburner project.
Jessica Wedding Invitation Suite
The Jessica wedding invitation suite was forged from my hunt for the perfect script typeface. I found a few great ones on Adobe TypeKit, and the script in the Jessica invite (Al Fresco) is one of my favorites. It comes with a bunch of customization options and it’s not too delicate so it reads nicely on a funky background.
Jessica is a less formal variation of my Grace invitation—perfect for a summer wedding.
Customization Options
You can order your Jessica invite in 20 different solid colors, 6 different watercolors, and 6 different abstract art patterns. You have the option to customize your colors (wording, and sizes, too).
Type geeks: seriously … look at the lowercase “p” on the RSVP! And the “and”! If you use Adobe Creative Cloud and want to feel pretty, download Al Fresco. OK. Type nerd moment over. 
As with the rest of my wedding invite suites, Jessica has matching RSVP postcards, A2 RSVPs, Save the Date postcards, A2 & A7 Save the Date Cards, envelope liners, table numbers, thank yous (A2 folded or flat), customized address blocks, and monograms.
Custom Printing Options
If you need printing services, I can set that up for you. No extra charge—you pay for printing, but not for my coordination (like a lot of other vendors). I designed these to be printed at home or professionally. Jessica (plain) is a great candidate for letterpress printing. I can price out either or both letterpress and offset printing for people who are interested. If you are printing more than 100 invites and matching items, offset printing (in one color) might be cheaper for you than printing at a copy shop anyway.
